First Baptist Church

The Beatrice Care Closet is located at the First Baptist Church in Beatrice.  Our mission is to help restore dignity to children and families in crisis. At the Care Closet, youth and adults are able to choose their own new and gently used clothing items.  The Care Closet is operated exclusively by volunteers. All financial donations received by the Care Closet are used directly on clothing and basic supplies (socks, underwear, hygiene, etc) for those in need. The Care Closet is open year-round, by appointment. 

The Beatrice Care Closet hosts a Mobile Foster Care Closet Event twice a year, specifically to serve youth in foster care. At these events, youth in foster care are able to choose 5 new outfits, underwear, socks, shoes, pajamas, and a seasonal coat through our partnership with the Foster Care Closets of Nebraska.  The Beatrice Care Closet supplies youth at these events with new hygiene items, blankets/quilts, stuffed animals, books, and other misc items.
