About Youth Recreation Inc.

Beatrice Youth Recreation, Inc. (YRI) has been serving the youth of Gage County since 1950, providing baseball, softball, and T-ball opportunities for approximately 500 boys and girls, from preschool through 12th grade, each year.

At YRI, we believe youth sports are about much more than wins and losses—they're about building character, confidence, teamwork, and lifelong friendships.

Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and encouraging environment where children can learn the fundamentals of baseball, softball, and T-ball while developing important life skills that extend far beyond the playing field. Every season, children gain confidence, improve their athletic abilities, practice good sportsmanship, and build meaningful relationships with teammates and coaches.

YRI is proud to be a 100% volunteer-driven organization. Our coaches, board members, and countless helpers generously donate their time and talents to make our programs possible. Their dedication, along with the support of parents, sponsors, donors, and community members, ensures that every child has the opportunity to participate in youth sports.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, fundraising efforts, and dedicated volunteers, we work hard to keep our program affordable and accessible so every child has the opportunity to step onto the field, learn the game, and create lasting memories.
