About Our Organization

We are the Adams Rescue Squad and we work hard to bring the best support and patient care to Adams and the surrounding area through our Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Adams Rescue Squad is a 100% volunteer based service and provides services to a 78 square miles area, as well as provides Mutual Aid to the surrounding three counties.

Project Details

Adams Rescue needs a new up-to-date defibrillator for our ambulance so we can continue to provide our community quality emergency medical care. These are expensive, over $40,000, but an important part of a patients care; they will shock a persons heart into a life saving rhythm, they can send information to the hospital about our patients condition and allowing a patient to go straight to a cath lab if needed, also, it will give us vital information about how our patient is doing. (The image of the defibrillator/monitor may not be the exact one we will purchase with your generous donations, we still need to decide which one will best serve the needs of our community.)
