Our building houses the 4-H youths projects during the Gage County Fair, we are the only building on the fairgrounds that is open to the public with AC. We open our doors free of charge for many different community events through-out the year such as, health screenings for the public, Thrive to Inspire, Day on the Farm, Camp G.R.I.T-Growing into a Resilient, Independent, Tenacious young adult, etc. We also offer the building free of charge to the 4-H community for youth events and learning day camps, club meetings, tournaments and 4-H celebrations. We offer our building as a natural disaster relief site for local nursing homes, schools and the Red Cross. Community members rent out the building for many different family gatherings from baby showers, birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, holiday parties and funeral lunch-ins. Local businesses rent the building for training events, auctions and annual meetings. We are run and maintained by 100% volunteers. We have no paid staff. Our board members plan fundraisers, cater meals for people renting the building and run concession stands at various events to raise money to pay for general operation.
