Food4Hope

Food4Hope is a grassroots food hub rooted in community and powered by purpose. We champion local, made-from-scratch food by aggregating from small farmers and producers, then preparing fresh meals in our commercial kitchen. Through our Fresh2You delivery program, we bring ready-to-eat meals directly to homes and businesses, creating a direct pipeline between local farmers and local families.

In 2026, we are celebrating our second year of managing the Beatrice Saturday Farmers Market. What began as a response to community demand has grown into one of the largest farmers markets in the area, with a strong roster of local growers, makers, vendors, and loyal shoppers.

This year also marks our third season of Local Palooza, our free farm-to-table concert series that brings together food, music, art, vendors, and neighbors to celebrate everything local. Local Palooza reflects the heart of Food4Hope: good food, good music, good friends, and a community coming together.

In 2025, Food4Hope was honored to be nominated by the Beatrice Area Chamber of Commerce for Nonprofit of the Year, recognizing the growing impact of our work in Gage County and Southeast Nebraska.

Our work is grounded in sustainability, stewardship, education, and the belief that strong local food systems build stronger communities.

This year, our Big Give Gage campaign aims to raise $30,000 to help build a geothermal greenhouse: a year-round growing space that directly supports our mission. This greenhouse will extend the local food season, support small producers, strengthen hands-on education, and help nourish Southeast Nebraska all year long.

With your help, we will deepen our roots, grow more food locally, and continue building a healthier, more connected community.
