The Challenge

Adams faces a severe rural transportation gap with zero local commercial options available for non-emergency medical transport. Additionally, our local Fire and Rescue squad is not permitted to assist with non-emergency resident transportation.

Gold Crest currently relies on an aging van that severely restricts daily care and mobility:

• Accommodates only one wheelchair at a time, preventing multi-passenger trips.

• Cannot fit larger, modern mobility equipment.

• Is ill-suited for higher-weight residents, limiting safe transport options.
