Gage County Habitat for Humanity has been actively helping people with their housing needs since the late 1990's. Gage County Habitat for Humanity has helped build new homes, remodel exsisting homes, and repair homes for people who otherwize would not be able financially afford to do so. Beneficiares of Gage County Habitat for Humanity are required to donate their own time and talents referred to a "sweat equity" improve their living conditions. Volunteer labor from the greater community is also used to provide affordable housing and repairs.
