Majestic Marimba 4.3 Octave with Synthetic Bars

As the Freeman Public Schools band program grows along with the school, efforts continue to replace outdated percussion equipment and build a reliable, long-term instrument inventory that can properly support our students. The next step is to replace the 35-year-old non-functioning marimba with a Majestic Marimba 4.3 Octave with Synthetic Bars and Offset Arch Resonators on a Crank-Up Height Adjustment Stand. The new marimba would give Freeman students the opportunity to consistently rehearse on working mallet instruments as they prepare for contests, honor band performances, and even home concerts. With around 160 band members between 5 and 12th grade, updated and upgraded percussion equipment would benefit a large number of Freeman students. In addition, owning this instrument would allow Freeman to better host future music events without relying on neighboring schools for essential percussion equipment. Freeman has a long history of excellent band education and performances, and a new marimba would ensure that the musical tradition and success would continue well into the future.
