Accessibility at the Museum

Help us make history accessible to everyone through our Big Give Gage 2026 fundraiser. The Gage County Historical Society and Museum is continuing the second phase of our Accessibility Plan to ensure that all visitors can experience and enjoy our museum. Over the past several years, we have expanded rotating exhibits for easier access, improved lighting and signage throughout the museum, and offered sensory-friendly openings during special events. With your support, we can now add important accessibility equipment, including two loaner autism sensory bags and the OrCam MyEye reading assistance tool for visitors with reading and visual accessibility challenges. Every donation helps remove barriers, create welcoming experiences, and ensure that every member of our community has the opportunity to connect with local history.
