About Our Organization
The mission of the Gage County Ag Society is to educate and promote agriculture, industry, and youth through community involvement and to motivate, develop, and recognize the leaders of today and tomorrow through competitive entries and wholesome activities. The Gage County Ag Society hosts the Annual Gage County Fair in Beatrice, NE every year and aims to make it one of the greatest fair events across the state of Nebraska each summer.
The Gage County Agriculture Society has a long standing history of very dedicated leadership that strives to maintain and improve the legacy of agriculture in our community, and one way of doing that is by hosting an eventful County Fair each summer. The Gage County Fairgrounds is known around the state to be a fun, prosperous place with good facilities. The well-known Ag Hall on the Gage County Fairgrounds is considered a staple during the Fair. What most do no realize, is the Ag Hall is available and perfectly equipped to host events thoughout the entire year. Celebrations such as graduation parties, weddings, retirements, family reunions, etc. have all been held in the Ag Hall. The space is equipped with ample parking and restrooms, and is handicap accessible. Catering can be brought in and alcohol can be provided by the Gage County Ag Society.
The Gage County Ag Society is fundraising to further improve the Ag Hall and make it even more attractive to the community. Upgrades will allow the Gage County Ag Society to utilize the space for event rentals throughtout the entire year despite the ever changing weather of Nebraska. Our current goal would allow for the building to be updated with heating and cooling and provide an opportunity for the floor to be coated with a professional grade epoxy to make the space even more appealing. These upgrades will also provide an additional building for fairgoers to decompress during those exceptionally warm summer days.
For more than 100 years, the VFW Auxiliary has been fulfilling its original objectives by supporting the Veterans of Foreign Wars, serving veterans, service members and their families, and spreading patriotism nationwide.

The Filley Cemetery was established in 1887, and operated for years by an unincorported association of individuals unt the incorporation of the Filley Cemetery Association, a Nebraska Non-profit Corporation on February 10, 2020.
