• What is Big Give Gage?

    Big Give Gage is a 24-hour time of giving where Gage County area supporters are invited to give back to their favorite local charities and stretch your giving even further.

     

    The goal of this community-wide giving event is to match Gage County area supporters’ passions and generosity with local nonprofit organizations already doing great work. Through the combined participation of all people who love and care about the Gage County area, we can significantly impact the future of our beloved community.


    Big Give Gage will run from 12:00am on September 11th to 11:59pm on September 11th. We encourage donations to be made online the day of the event.

  • Is my organization eligible?

    Organizations agree to the following information to participate in Big Give Gage. Eligibility Guidelines – Participating organizations will follow and agree to the established eligibility guidelines:


    • Organizations have a current 501(c)(3) public charity status as recognized by the IRS to be a qualified recipient of tax-deductible gifts.
    • Meet federal filing requirements for tax-exempt organizations.
    • Funds raised during Big Give Gage will be used for services in Gage County.
    • Will comply with the Terms of Participation for Big Give Gage as outlined by the Gage County Foundation.

  • How do I register to participate?

    Click the 'Login' button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen to register. Once on the login screen, you can log in as a returning organization and submit registration, or if you're new, click "apply as a new organization" to submit your eligibility form to get started.

  • How do I highlight the projects or programs my organization is fundraising for?

    Once your organization's profile is approved and public, you can create peer-to-peer fundraiser pages to advocate and raise funds for specific programs! Check out the Create a Fundraiser page for more information.

  • What is the Support Them All fund?

    Big Give Gage's "Support Them All" fund provides donors the option to give equally to all participating nonprofit organizations. Not sure who to donate to? Support Them All!

  • How do I donate?

    Donations can be made to any registered organization  beginning September 4 through 11:59 p.m. September 11. You can search for an organization by name and other keywords. Donations online are available via credit card, bank account, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

  • Is there a minimum donation?

    The minimum donation is $10. 


    100% of your donation goes to the Organization of your choice.

  • Besides a donation, how can I support my favorite nonprofits on Big Give Day?

    Spread the word! 

    After you make a donation, use the Share button after you donate to let others know that you gave through the Big Give Day! 


    Volunteer!

    Your favorite nonprofits may have volunteer opportunities listed on their profiles. Check out their profile's Volunteer tab to submit volunteer interest. Organizations will follow up with you as they have volunteer needs.

    Become a philanthropist for your favorite nonprofits and help raise funds on their behalf. Create a Peer-to-Peer Fundraiser.
