About Our Organization

The historical Barneston Community Gym has been a staple of Southeast Nebraska & Gage County for many years. To this day it is still loved and used by many local community members and people from afar! The Barneston Community Center Foundation works hard to maintain the gym, make improvements & provide a wonderful place for people to enjoy.

Current Project: Barneston Gym Bathroom Remodel

BCCF board members are working hard to keep the Barneston Community Center open and running. The building has projects that truly need to be completed in the near future. At the top of that list is the bathroom addition out the north entrance.

Current bathroom facilities are located in the basement, forcing visitors to use old stairs to access. The bathrooms are outdated and struggle to work on a daily basis. Large events and seasonal league events hosted at the gym are constantly turning into a plumbing issue. Unfortunately due to the age of the facilities any repairs are short-lived.

The NEW BATHROOM ADDITION will be located on the north side of the gym.

Donations raised through BIG GIVE GAGE will be used to complete the project.
