This Year's Project: Community Project Grant Funds

About Our Organization

The Gage County Foundation exists for the purpose of raising and providing funds for the benefit of Gage County non-profit organizations engaged in the pursuit of serving the educational, cultural, recreational, historical, health and all meaningful needs of our Gage County Citizens.

The Gage County Foundation is a vehicle for people of all means to make a lasting difference in the community causes they care about. The central purpose the Gage County Foundation is to serve the needs and philanthropic aims of donors who wish to better their community, now and in the future. We do this by providing donors with flexible, efficient, and tax-effective ways to ensure their charitable giving achieves the greatest possible impact. The concept of the Foundation is as ingenious as it is simple - it is a means to build substantial endowment funds for our community through contributions large and small. Because the contributions are endowed, they are never spent. Instead, they are permanently invested to produce income. The income earned is then used to help meet the community's charitable needs, according to YOUR donor interests and the current needs and opportunities in the community. So gifts to the Gage County Foundation continue to benefit our community forever. This is philanthropy in its broadest sense.

Current Project: Community Project Grant Funds

The Gage County Foundation aims to raise funds and inspire individuals and organizations to donate. Through philanthropy and gift distribution, it seeks to address the significant needs of Gage County, Nebraska residents.

To achieve our organizational purpose, we have established a Community Project Fund. This fund supports initiatives that enhance the well-being and quality of life within communities. These projects can cover various areas, including education, health, environment, arts and culture, social services, and infrastructure.

The amount of funding available from the Community Project Grant Fund can vary widely depending on the size of the fund and the scope of the projects considered.

Successful projects funded by the Community Project Grant Fund can significantly positively impact the community by improving quality of life, enhancing community engagement, increasing access to services, and strengthening social cohesion.
